The Perfect 9670 Emd F3a, Drgw 5524, "prospector Scheme", No-sound / Dcc-ready, Ho Kit [kjDb7qCz]

The EMD F3 is a 1,500 horsepower diesel locomotive built by General Motors' Electro-Motive Division between 1945 and 1949. The F3 was the third model in EMD's successful F-unit series of cab unit diesels, and it was the second most produced of the series behind the F7. The F3's were widely used in both freight and passenger service, and in total, EMD built more than 1,100 A-units and almost 700 B-units.

In this production run, we are building 6 prototypical road names with striking paint schemes. A few of the road names offered include locomotives that still operate today such as C&O 8016, and DLW 663 and 664. 

 Our Stealth Series offering will consist of No-Sound / DCC-Ready A/B Sets, single A-units and single B-units. All of our models have road-specific details.
