Selling Out (new Zealand- Aoteoroa) Stanford's Map Of New Zealand. Holiday Edition [wBTlfu7n], Stanford, 1861
 A great, boldly hand colored map of the islands noting the major towns, rivers, and terrain. But it was still a conflicted and remote region, where Maori faction struggled with internal factions as well as with the changing governmental structure. An interesting table in the lower right draws interesting comparisons between Great Britain and New Zealand, noting how England and Wales is roughly 38,000,00 acres, and the North Island of New Zealand is 32,000,000 acres. It extrapolates that if you compared the lands of Great Britain to New Zealand they are almost the same overall size, and the implication is that New Zealand could well be the Britain of the south Pacific. 
Condition is good with some opening and fold repairs, but solid and pretty bright. Image size is approximately 16 x 15 (inches)
