Available now at Motion RC, Carisma Scale Adventures SCA-1E 2.1 1981 Range Rover. Their most popular rig has now evolved to becoming their best performing rig out of the box as well as keeping the popular looks and same affordable price point, while at the same time taking performance to a whole new level.

Now utilizing the Gen 2 chassis architecture as standard, with CMS (chassis-mounted servo) offering a forward weight bias to aid high-performance crawling, with the battery pack located forward as well to improve bias.

Carisma also addressed the issue of “torque twist”, an issue that plagues all shaft driven rigs. The newly developed ATT (Anti Torque Twist Transmission) counteracts and reduces the effects of torque twist by ensuring the front and rear center driveline spin in opposite directions while flipping over the rear diff. This creates a counter rotational force in the central driveline that significantly reduces torque twist and enhances the available traction where you need it most... at the wheels. The rig runs flatter even at full throttle, and this geometry is more stable and predictable when crawling.

Alongside a LiPo friendly ARC-1 ESC, an optimized and lowered gear ratio of 5.92:1 provides a smoother low RPM range with greater control. To compliment this, Carisma introduced a new sealed can 17T 5-Pole Brushed Crawling Spec Motor, with the additional torque (compared to a 3-pole motor) providing improved throttle control and on-demand torque. This new 17T motor also produces wheel speed when required for trail running and being a sealed can, is more weather resistant with minimal required maintenance.

True 1.9 symmetrical beadlock wheels allows additional weights to be used (if desired), and Carisma’s soft compound tires offer great all-round performance.

The licensed Range Rover body is expertly detailed and includes black injection molded scale details like grille, bumpers, mirrors, and wipers. The body is LED Ready and accepts many LED kits.

The Carisma CTX-8000 2.4GHz radio system features steering rate adjustment, steering and throttle trims, servo reversing and endpoint adjustments and uses F.H.S.S (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) technology for interference-free control. Also include are a 1400mah NiMH battery and convenient USB Charger.
