Back in 2010, we unleashed the original 14” Vanagon/Transporter fender flare kit upon the world, and let’s just say it became a cult classic in the Vanagon / Transporter community. Fast forward a few years (okay, maybe more than a few), and we’ve heard your cries for something bigger, better, and beefier.

Well, buckle up, because the wait is over! Introducing the new and improved 16” fender flare kit, specially designed for those who believe that bigger really is better. We’ve cranked up the girth on these bad boys to give your van that extra dose of rugged flare. Perfect for Syncro owners who are tired of squeezing into stock tires and want to make room for some serious rubber.

If you’re ready to turn your ride into a monster truck (well, almost) with wheels and tires that would make your neighbors do a double-take, this kit is calling your name. Go big or go home!

The 16" kit requires trimming of the steel fender on the rear wheel opening as well as the front.  Templates for cutting the front and rear fender metal are included in the kit.

Reproduced in modern flexible TPO plastic with the exact texture and color. Our fender flare kit is made here in the USA, by us. 

* Front flares mount to underside of door. This design keeps the van's fender covered and free from mud and debris. Your white pants will thank you!

Mud flaps: Sorry, the south African style mud flaps don't work with our flares. However the OEM VW mud flaps do.
