What is Bioethanol?

Bioethanol or ethanol is a natural, renewable and green energy source made by fermenting the sugar and starch components of plant by-products - mainly sugarcane and crops like grain, using yeast.

It is also made from corn, potatoes, milk, rice, beetroot and recently, grapes, bananas and dates, depending on the country's agricultural strength.

Why Bioethanol?

There are no messy environmental pollutants like soot, smoke or ash when you choose bioethanol. There are no harmful fumes, and bioethanol can safely be used inside the house. 

Burning bioethanol fuel creates a beautiful, lively, dancing orange flame that is mesmerising. And because they don't need a flue or chimney, you can now enjoy an open fire more easily than ever - even in a high-rise building. 

Efficient Fuel Source, because e-NRG requires no venting, it is an incredibly efficient fuel source. Never lose heat up a chimney or flue again!

Is Bioethanol Sustainable?

The combustion of bioethanol results in a clean emission: Heat, Steam and Carbon Dioxide. Carbon dioxide is absorbed by plants. It is then processed via photosynthesis to help the plant grow. This infinite cycle of creation and combustion of energy makes bioethanol a carbon-neutral fuel source.

We also have the Pod 30 as a propane or natural gas fire pit if that is your preferred fuel source.

Versatility

There are two versions of the Pod 30 available.  The standard Pod 30 is an outdoor fire pit, and an enhanced Pod 30. The enhanced Pod 30 has an extra safety tray included.

This adds an additional layer of safety and ensures it complies with UK safety regulations when used indoors. 

The enhanced Pod 30 can be used inside your home or outside on your garden patio, it makes a great indoor fire pit in the winter and can be used outside the rest of the year. Bioethanol burns clean and is safe to use inside.

EcoSmart Fireplaces are very safe and come with a built-in flame arrester, there are simple operating procedures and accessories that allow for safe and easy fireplace refueling.

Fire Lighter

This refillable butane lighter supports the safe ignition of the lighting rod. The length of the lighter further enhances the management of the lighting process.

 

Lighting Rod

This operational accessory enables you to safely adjust the slider position of the Burner at any time. It is also used for the ignition and extinguishing procedures.

Jerry Can 5L

Safety features include automatic stop flow, fast flow rate, locking thumb button control and self venting system.

Black Glass Charcoal

The Black Glass Charcoal is made from high-quality tempered glass and has been designed to withstand harsh weather and temperatures of up to 1300ºF/700ºC.

Bottle Adaptor

The adaptor connects the safety spout from the Jerry Can straight onto the e-NRG bottle making fuelling the fire quicker and easier.

AB8 Efficiency Ring

Improves burn efficiency of the flame.
