Growing up during a different time, when kids were allowed to wander the neighborhoods hours on end, Ray Hare found himself crossing paths with a mountain lion - a mysterious and elusive animal. On the lion's home turf, Ray spent hours exploring isolated caves until a once-in-a-lifetime experience of locking eyes with the big cat happened. Since then the image has been haunting Hare, who waited until now to complete this project of depicting what he saw so many years ago.
