The ComfoFond-L Q is a subsoil heat exchanger which uses the renewable energy captured in the ground..  It can be linked to your Zehnder heat recovery system and uses the constant year round temperature of the earth to pre-heat incoming air during cold periods and pre-cool incoming air during warmer months.  It can do this thanks to the relatively stable temperature of the earth year round at a depth of 1.2 – 1.6m compared to the variability of the air temperature above.  It uses a closed ground loop with a brine solution circulating through it that adapts to the temperature of the soil.  This tempering can then be used to modulate the temperature of the air supplied through your heat recovery system to habitable rooms, ensuring a comfortable indoor climate.
