METALpro’s 8” brake accessory fits in any METALpro Ironworkers central workstation. This accessory comes equipped with a standard 90 degree forming brake die set (10-gauge upper punch and 3/16” lower die). METALpro offers an assortment of die sizes and styles, capable of forming 28 gauge to ½” mild steel (width limited to tonnage requirements). All METALpro machines and accessories are proudly made in the USA and built to last.
The METALpro MP4110 is a universal brake that can be used in all METALpro machine models. It also can be used in other applications such as H frame presses.
Calculating bending tonnage: 150 x material thickness = Tonnage required for 12″ length of mild steel
Always bend material (regardless of width) in center of brake.
