Micro Clean by Compressed Air USA offers ultra-high purity compressed air through our Modular Desiccant Air Dryer.

The Micro Clean DMD series of compressed air dryers provide the best moisture and particulate protection available for your processes. The DMD series feature quiet, safe, and extremely reliable operation with low life cycle costs, low energy costs, and simplified maintenance. Utilizing the pressure swing adsorption principle, the heatless twin tower configuration efficiently dries and filters compressed air. Our dryers are 100% function, leak, and performance tested to ensure air purity in accordance with ISO8573.1:2010, Class 2 dirt (1 micron) and Class 2 water (-40F pressure dew point).

Each dryer includes a separate High Efficiency coalescing and particulate filter, to be installed at the dryer inlet. Each tower column contains a desiccant cartridge with built-in 1 micron outlet filter (this model also includes a built-in inlet water separator).

After the HE filter, air first passes through a built-in inlet water separator (included with this model) for bulk liquid removal, then passes through the desiccant bed where moisture vapor is adsorbed, and then through a built-in particulate 1 micron filter which retains any desiccant particulate. Water is retained in the dryer until that tower is regenerated.

One tower is online while the other is regenerating. Automatic regeneration is achieved by PLC controlled solenoid valves that first equalize pressure, then depressurize and vent the offline tower to atmosphere, while a small amount of dry air is counter-flowed to dry the desiccant which regenerates that tower.
