In my latest work I have focused on adding more to the background layers, building up interest with images of Hollywood stars from the 50's and 60's, old musical score sheets, vintage French land registry certificates as well as the usual graffiti references taken from my local city Bristol and Brick Lane in London. I am an avid collector of all sorts of wild and wonderful ephemera that tells a story and has a history.

Whilst the flowers are the main focus in this original collage on canvas I wanted the background to still be filled with lots of depth and interest. Stripes seem to be a recurring theme at the moment too as I think I like the order they bring amongst the chaos of everything else happening on the canvas.

The title of this piece originates from a flyer I found on Brick Lane with the text, 'Sex, Drugs and Premium Quality Cheap Thrills Accessory [s1c2wG6h]' and is included in the artwork amongst lots of other interesting 'finds' in the background layers.

Please note that whilst this artwork has been sprayed with UV protection it is recommended to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
