Enjoy 2 lbs. of our own cultivated shiitake, blue oyster, black pearl oyster, and lion’s mane mushrooms each week — yum! We’ve built out two 40’ shipping containers into mushroom caves, and are now growing mushrooms year-round, harvested daily. Week of March 17, 2025 through week of June 2, 2025.

Mushroom production is a relatively new project for us here at Siena Farms, and so far it's been a whole lot of fun, with very delicious results!  Simple controls of temperature, humidity, light and air exchange (like us, mushrooms breathe in oxygen and exhale CO2) have enabled a steady, year-round harvest of fresh mushrooms we can now offer to our CSA members. Currently we’re growing shiitake, blue oyster, black pearl oyster, and lion’s mane mushrooms – and we’re so happy to share them with you!
