The Zurn 975XL2 Backflow Preventer is constructed with premium materials to ensure durability and performance. The main valve body, access covers, and fasteners are made of low lead cast bronze according to ASTM B 584 standards. The use of stainless steel, 300 series for fasteners and silicone and Buna Nitrile elastomers (both FDA approved) ensures corrosion resistance and long-lasting functionality. The product features a maximum working water pressure of 175 PSI and a maximum working water temperature of 180°F, with a hydrostatic test pressure of 350 PSI. The end connections are threaded to ANSI B1.20.1 standards, ensuring compatibility with various systems.
