The Pick it MC3
The Pick it MC3 boasts a Hyper-Spherical diamond stylus profile, unique to Pro-Ject. The profile shape offers a greater contact area with the record groove compared to regular spherical styli, and is well-suited to older and well-used vinyl records. The stylus is then bonded to a cryogenically treated aluminium cantilever. This treatment process helps the cantilever become even more rigid and improves its grip of the attached diamond.
MC3 Technology
Internally, the Pick it MC3 makes use of ARMCO pure iron pole pieces in the magnet system and 6N LC copper coils. The result is an easy-to-amplify 0.4mV output voltage.
Unique Design
Externally, the Pick it MC3 boasts an aluminium cartridge body, anodized in a striking steel blue finish. The clear, expertly machined contours help with cartridge alignment and installation is easy thanks to the standard 1/2" mounting sockets on the top panel. The included stylus guard helps keep the cantilever and diamond protected when the cartridge is not in use.
