The T66 is the first model in GoldenEar's new T Series, which builds upon the success of the critically acclaimed Triton Series. This speaker features a tall, slender profile, built-in DSP-controlled subwoofer amplification, and a driver complement that includes GoldenEar's High-Velocity Folded Ribbon AMT tweeter, cast-basket mid/bass units, quadratic planar radiators, and a long-throw powered sub-bass section. The T66 has been enhanced with a dramatically augmented crossover design, high-quality internal wiring, a new metal base and grille, and a choice of high-gloss piano-black lacquer or vibrant red cabinet finish. Two pairs of binding posts accommodate biwiring, and the speaker includes AudioQuest's Direct-Gold Plated Bare Naked Jumpers for improved performance.
