A nice Orvis bamboo fly rod, 7', 3-piece, 2-tips, and built for a #4 line. 2.7 ounces. Serial #74472. Full flexing action, a tad on the slower side. Lightly used condition with some cosmetic casting cracks at the ferrule wraps and light tanning to the grip. The rod is impregnated and the cane is done in a three up node pattern. The wraps are brown with a carbide stripper and chrome snake guides. The step ferrules are oxidized and retain 95% of their original oxidation. The grip is 5 1/2" long and tapers to the overwrap at the keeper. The seat is flatted cork with opposing rings. An aluminum end cap covers the bottom. This rod packs into a green cloth bag and the original Orvis rod tube with the original data sticker.
