For sale here is an amazing Hardy Palakona Phantom bamboo rod. Six feet ten inches, two sections with two tips. The rod is completely original and in unused condition. Both sections are full-length and arrow-straight. Black silks with red tipping. Aluminum cap and ring over all-cork reel seat. There's a "3" stamped into both males and the female ferrule. Serial number ICQ163862. Complete with ferrule plug. The rod weighs 3 3/8 oz. Comes with its original Hardy bag and a leather tube that I don't profess to be original, but the fit is perfect for the rod so I cannot be certain.

There was a small batch of these rods made somewhere between 2004-2006. This rod was purchased in 2006 from the late John Mathers, Hardy's Canadian distributor at that time.
