General Application / Compatibility

• Found on MerCruiser Sterndrive Gen II Transom Gimbal Assembly Housings 1998 & up for the most part... technically can replace earlier housings but I think you would have to do some modifications to the plumbing and may require a different transom plate inside the boat if you were trying to replace a very early Gen II housing... Note that there are a few visual differences on the back.
• It is usually going to be in your best interest to just match the stamped part number you find in yours "43880-C12"
