This is the new Ibanez AZES model, designed in collaboration with Berklee College of Music professor and YouTube guitar teacher Tomo Fujita! The goal was to create the new standard of an entry level electric guitar which was affordable, but still comfortable and useful to play years beyond your first as a guitarist! The construction of the AZES is a poplar body paired with a maple neck and jotoba fretboard. Ibanez used a humbucker-single-single pickup configuration with the dyna-MIX9 switching system to get nine different pickup combinations instead of the usual five! At this price point, the AZES is a perfect choice for players looking to set out on their guitar journey!
