For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1990's Kawai Moon Sault MS-80.

When the moon hits your eye, like a big pizza pie, that's amore, and when a guitar hits your eye, like a big moon pie, it's probably this unique Kawai Moonsault, a rare Japanese import that defies conventional guitar design.  But don't let the looks fool you, aside from bearing the moon shaped body and inlays depicting the phases of the moon, this guitar can howl. Fans of the Eighties may remember The Cars' Ric Ocasek played a Moonsault similar to this one.

Featuring a dual humbuckers, with a three-way switch, master volume and tone controls (and a push-pull on the tone knob for single coil sounds), this guitar gives you lot to work with, and to our ears, is close to a Les Paul in sound.  Given the relative scarcity of these instruments, it's a nice collectors piece, but we hope you'll play it (disclaimer, you're probably gonna need a strap to do so).
