The Vintage Fender Telecaster- REDEFINED! This 50s Tele Super Relic is part of the Dealer Select Master Vintage Player Series (MVP), built exclusively for Make'n Music in the Fender Custom Shop!!! These special instruments are custom designed to offer the Ultimate in Tone, Playability and Feel. Each guitar is hand-made to our specs in order to give the vibe and look of an actual vintage instrument, but with all the conveniences of a true modern player's piece.

While these Fender Custom Shop Master Vintage Player Series Strats and Teles may look and feel like actual vintage guitars, they play like a dream thanks to a number of strategically chosen spec upgrades. This particular guitar is based on the Vintage 1951 Nocaster / 1952 Telecaster with a very special hand-distressed, Relic finish package to replicate decades of road worn wear and tear! The neck is Quartersawn Maple with a custom 50s “V” profile, rolled edges, 1&11/16" nut width, flatter 9.5" fingerboard radius and 6105 fret wire. Not only does it feel great, but adjustments are a breeze too, as the Truss Rod is accessible from the headstock. You no longer have to remove the neck for a tweak!

This particular guitar also happens to be one of our new "Featherweight" models Masterbuilt by Dale Wilson. It features a very special body hand-selected for extreme lightweight, tone, and resonance. Never harsh or squawky. Exactly like you would imagine an incredible vintage Tele to sound! 

Additional features and upgrades include Gatton Saddles for improved intonation, a Humbucker in the neck position for that Keith Richards Micawber vibe, and a Hnd Wound OBG (Original Blackguard) bridge pickup to ensure this Tele has plenty of spank and twang. Custom wiring with an S-1 switch for Humbucker split adds to the sweet, rich, delectable tone. Very Cool Indeed!
