The Vintage Fender Tele- REDEFINED! This 60 Thinline Tele Custom is Masterbuilt by Todd Krause as part of the Make'n Music Exclusive, Dealer Select Master Vintage Player Series (MVP). These special instruments are custom designed to offer the Ultimate in Tone, Playability and Feel. Each guitar is hand-made to our specs in order to give the vibe and look of an actual vintage instrument, but with all the conveniences of a true modern player's piece.

This particular guitar is built to modified early 60s Telecaster specs with a Double Bound Thinline body, and sports a very unique Closet Classic finish package with Gold Hardware and an Olympic White painted headstock! The pickguard is also unique, made from clear acrylic and painted Gold from the back, just like the vintage Gretsch guitars. The tone is incredible thanks to a pair of great sounding Hand Wound pickups - The OBG (Original Blackguard) in the bridge position for a snarling Tele spank and twang, along with a Twisted Tele pickup in the neck position for a clear and sparkling, bell-like quality (almost Strat-y). An S-1 switch hidden discreetly in the Tone Control offers a Series/Parallel "boost" functionality at your fingertips.

While Fender Custom Shop Master Vintage Player Series Strats and Teles may look and feel like actual vintage guitars, they play like a dream. The neck profile is an ultra-comfy, "custom for Make'n Music" Mid 60's Oval C. At .825" - .945" it's perfectly shaped to fit in any size hands. Gently rolled edges and 6105 fret wire, along with the flatter 9.5" radius and 1&11/16" nut width allow for easier chording and faster leads without fretting out. Adjustments are a breeze too! The Truss Rod is accessible from the headstock, so you no longer have to remove the neck for a tweak. To top things off, the neck is finished with a natural "Gunstock" oil, for the silky smooth feel of bare wood.
