The COBB Tuning Front Mount Intercooler is available for those of you who have performed modifications that have surpassed the limits of your factory top mount intercooler. If you performed modifications such as a rotated turbo setup or an upgraded stock location turbocharger and have goals of reaching a certain horsepower limit, then this intercooler may be right for you. Front mount intercoolers lower the intake charge which greatly improves the cooling efficiency of the turbocharger. If you heat soak your intercooler, then you can hinder both your power and performance.
