The Exergy Performance Fuel Saver Inlet metering valve (FCA) was designed to protect the fuel system of the 2011-2022 6.7 Powerstroke in the event that factory CP4 fails by stopping the contaminants from entering the rest of the system.

The factory inlet metering valve uses a low quality 80-micron single layer screen that often tears, allowing metal and other foreign material to pass through the entire fuel system which causes damage to the injectors, tank and lines in most cases.

Exergy's upgraded metering valve features a dual layered 25-micron screen is designed to stop these contaminants from entering the rest of the system, eliminating the extremely expensive repair bills associated with replacing the fuel system.
