APP Pumps offer the BPS series of puddle pumps, a range of cost-effective and trustworthy water pumps which are ideally suited to both clean and slightly dirty waters. If you are restricted for space, or need a pump that is suitable for partial immersion situations then the BPS series is the ideal choice. (Please note, the pump can be fully submersed, however will operate in partial immersion.)

Materials and Construction

• BPS-80 and BPS-100 have specialist 304 stainless steel shafts.
• BPS-300 and BPS-400 models have superb 410 stainless steel shafts.

Even if there are short periods of dry running, the general construction of the BPS series delivers an excellent resistance to wear. This makes the APP Pumps BPS series ideal as a puddle pump. 

Low Level Pumping Capabilities

• BPS-80 and BPS-100 manual models can pump down to 3mm of water as they are fitted with residue strainers.
• BPS-100A (V) is perfect for narrow sumps as it uses a tube type float switch (turning on at 184mm and off at 100mm).
• BPS-400 models offer low level pumping, however not down to 3mm like the BPS-80 & 100.

Float Switch Comparisons

If you need an automatic pump for a narrow sump, the BPS100V is preferred as the float switch will not get stuck in the chamber. A pendant float can be trapped in narrow sumps (as shown).

Applications

Whether the pumps in the BPS series are being used in domestic, industrial, or trade applications, they are excellent value for money and superb quality.
