Junior Learning has partnered with Beanstalk Books to create The Phase 5 Essentials Max Single Kit of Decodable Readers Readers.

The Single Max kit includes one copy of every title. 

The Essentials Max Kit is comprised of a set of our Fiction and Non-Fiction titles from both set one and set two. This is a great kit to expand your collection of Decodable Readers and introduce more titles for added variety. Set one and set two follow the same scope and sequence, set two was added for further variety.

Also added into the Essentials Max kit is our Science titles of Decodable readers and both sets of our Hilo (high interest level, low reading age) readers, The Beanies. The Beanies have been written following the same progression, but use slightly older characters and stories to engage older readers. 

For the Phase 5 Essentials Max Kit, we now introduce Phase 5.5 – The Sound Families where we introduce alternative vowel sounds so that children can become familiar with phonemes being represented by different graphemes.

Phase 5 Vowel Sound readers introduce a further 20 letter patterns, mainly focusing on alternative vowel sounds. The text uses only decodable regular words (according to the week by week progression) along with 'tricky words'.
