On Sale Honey Truffles (fresh) - Mattirolomyces Terfezioides ~ Limited Availability [V85oK7Ry]

Honey Truffles vary in colour from Grey/White to Cream/Yellow, are softer than other truffles and posses a completely unique aroma and flavour which is sweet yet earthy and reminiscent of honey.  

They can be found almost exclusively growing wild under black locust trees along the sandy riverbanks in Hungary and Croatia. 

Thanks to their sweetness, honey truffles work very well with desserts, but also in many savoury dishes, for instance pairs with goat's cheese or goat's curd and honey for a delicious savoury-sweet combination. The honey truffle's saccharine quality makes it a wonderful way to add depth and layer of sweetness to ice creams, cakes or mouses and pairs well with Chocolate and Fruits.
