This makes a horse easier to turn and the bit cannot be pulled through the mouth so easily. In addition, this bit lies calm and stable in the mouth. The full cheek is an ideal bit for young or very hot horses who may not understand steering. The straight pieces on the cheekpiece are slightly bent outwards so that they cannot come into contact with the side of the horse's head. It is important that you put the bit in the mouth with the straight pieces facing outwards so that they can't cause wounds.

The leather that is stitched around this core, is naturally tanned without chemicals. The saliva production softens the leather bit and makes it more pleasant for the horse.
