As the foundation of the Ellman suite of wines with an intense, profusive ruby hue, it overdelivers with myriad notes of tarragon, Spanish cedar, and caffè crema, interlaced with provocative aromatics of fervent Attika cherries, slow-roasted meats— suckling lamb leaps to mind— and crushed cayenne.
