Minerva box leather from <Badarassi Carlo> in Italy, which changes over time, is used for both the outside and the inside. The leather used for the shoulder part is characterized by the natural wrinkles created by raising and lowering when eating grass. (There are individual differences in the appearance of grain.) The leather is carefully tanned with vegetable tannin, and the leather is richly impregnated with tallow to give it an oiled finish.
