This was a quote suggested to me by one of my Instagram followers.  I loved it so much I made a book right away! 

Etched throughout with the life cycle of the monarch, the font of the book features a milkweed flower, and inside the pages contain the following quote:

"We delight in the beauty of the butterfly (monarch caterpillar)

but rarely admit the changes it has gone through (caterpillar hanging in J form)

to achieve that beauty (caterpillar in chrysalis) "

Maya Angelou's name is on the back cover, with two monarchs taking flight.

This pendant measures 1 and 1/8" long including the bail,  and 3/4" wide on a 22" cable chain with handmade clasp.
