 The MMR Performance Oil Filter Housing is beautifully over-engineered in customary MMR fashion to give an exquisite feel and exceptional product experience. For all BMW N20, N52, N54, N55, S55 engines, this housing replaces the cheap plastic oil filter housing which is fragile and often cracks, leading to oil leaks.

BMW equipped their cars with a plastic oil filter housing which is fragile and is often cracked when removing and replacing, which in turn can result in oil leaks. This Filter Housing will ensure that you'll never again have the problem of these 'weeping' oil leaks from the standard part.

Each Filter Housing starts life as a solid billet of 6061 aerospace-grade aluminium. It's meticulously machined from this billet with the latest CNC 5-axis technology, before being polished, then gloss-anodised to stay beautiful year after year. The finished product is not only light but also extremely durable.

Available in both a deep black or signature dark anthracite anodised finish, so you can choose to either blend in, or stand out - whichever works best with your engine bay theme.

Fitting is straight forward and best done in conjunction with an Oil and Filter change. Just remove the existing housing, remove the rubber O-ring, fit onto your new housing, and fit back in place.

Please note if the part is under excessive heat for prolonged periods of time, it can affect the overall finish which is unavoidable with anodised aluminium products, which does not affect the function of the part.
