The Joint VPD Air kneepad incorporates a measured thickness of VPD foam (Visco Elastic Polymer Dough), which is nonetheless highly effective at absorbing shocks! This technology uses an intelligent visco-elastic material that is soft under normal conditions, but hardens instantly under the point of impact to better absorb it.

An inner neoprene band keeps the kneepad securely in place at the base of the knee, while a Velcro strap around the thigh ensures a snug fit.
