The Switchblade Mips from GIRO is an incredibly versatile helmet with a removable chin strap. Designed for all types of riding, and in particular for DH racingit has all the necessary safety certifications, including ASTM-1952-DH, whether the chin strap is in place or not. The chinstrap is easy to install/remove, simply by pressing a button on the underside and rotating it.

The helmet's structure, based on an In-Mold design (ABS outer shell / EPS liner), is extremely robust, thanks in particular to a series of internal anchors molded directly into the EPS foam. Safety is further enhanced by Mips technology, which significantly attenuates impact in the event of a fall by distributing the shockwave over the entire helmet surface.
