The ASCO Series 214, referred to as 8214, features high-flow, low-pressure (5 psi) gas safety shutoff valves that are meticulously engineered for the on-off regulation of fuel gas in commercial and industrial gas burners. Their distinctive double-disc configuration, equipped with over travel, ensures redundant sealing for a leak-proof shutoff on both pilot and main gas lines. An optional flange facilitates the construction of double-solenoid and solenoid-motorized valves, enhancing modularity and simplifying installation. These valves are perfectly suited for applications involving natural gas-fired boilers, furnaces, grain dryers, kilns, gas generators, and commercial kitchen or cooking equipment.

The Series 8214 valves are two-way, normally open diaphragm solenoid valves tailored for fuel gas applications. The valve bodies are made from robust aluminum, while the trim and internal parts consist of steel and stainless steel. Depending on the core design of the valve, the Series 8214 can be fitted with either a general-purpose junction box or a watertight/explosion-proof solenoid.
