A rare issued diver…

This is a very rare Bund-issued IWC that was made for the former West German combat swimmers called the Kampfschwimmers. Thought to be made in only 300 pieces, this example is in virtually new condition. The 42mm titanium case is immaculate, as is the long, integrated titanium bracelet and there are also some spare links. The black dial is flawless and the hour plots have taken on an incredible pumpkin hue that is complemented by the mil-spec bright orange minute hand. The rotating black bezel is a specific Kampfschwimmer version with prominent triangle marker.

The watch has the correct Bundeswehr caseback markings - 6654-12-344-0xxx. Accompanying this watch is an original Bund velcro band and Bund-signed strap changing tool and screw driver. The original box is included plus a receipt for an authenticity check by IWC. Could it get any better?! The quartz movement has been fully checked by our watchmaker and a new battery fitted.
