Thirty-two page document written in French gothic calligraphy. A handwritten note on a paper rag cover, added later, suggests the document relates to the family of Martel de Chabans. The document features three bold but illegible signatures of the authors. On the cover is the handstamp of Cabinet D'Hozier, one of the most famous genealogists of the 19th century. This sixteenth-century document is fragile and the there are a number of faults on the first two pages. Some loss, but overall this superb document is legible and has later-day research notes. Fair.
