The Metabo T 13-125 TuckPoint Set, 5" Pro Series tuckpointing Grinders is German engineered and manufactured for durability, safety, and productivity in Heavy Duty tuckpointing applications, scoring, and crack-chasing. The powerful LongLife 12.0 Amp, AC/DC, 9,600 RPM motor delivers up to 50% more torque and up to 20% higher overload capacity for fastest tuckpointing in its class. For cooler operation and extended longevity in demanding working environments the patented motor includes: unobstructed rear air intake, optimized internal air flow, and epoxy coated copper windings that extend outside of the field coil for advanced heat dissipation and protection from abrasion. In addition, the winding protection grid extends the life of the armature up to 5 times in harsh environments, and the full die-cast bearing flange and oversized bearings offer extend service life. The Grinders's safety is enhanced by the patented Metabo S-Automatic mechanical safety slip clutch which reduces the likelihood of kickback by helping the user maintain control if the accessory jams. The Metabo MVT Anti-Vibration Side Handle is designed with a bulb-shaped grip and 15-degree offset to reduce vibrations by up to 60%, providing optimal handling, reduced fatigue, and excellent ergonomics by distributing forces evenly across the hand, lowering the risk of long-term work-related disorders of the hand, wrist and arm. The die-cast aluminum gear housing is designed to dissipate heat from the motor, features oversized bearings and heavy-duty gearing. The dustless tuckpoint guard features the ability to easily cut into an inside corner, saving time and effort, and in addition includes a wide opening allowing for full visibility of the cut line. For compliance with OSHA Respirable Crystalline Silica standards or Table 1 compliance standards, Metabo’s full line of concrete tools are designed for use with Metabo dust extraction attachments and vacuums.
