DUB inhibitor
Functions
Inhibits ubiquitin C-terminal hydrolase (UCH-L1) (Ki=0.4 μM). Decreases proteasome activity and increases levels of ubiquitinated proteins. Induces apoptosis. Causes dramatic alterations in synaptic protein distribution and spine morphology in vivo. Cell permeable.
Application Procedures
First dissolved in DMSO (up to 20 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20° for up to 1 week.
