This is an astonishing vintage Navajo all silver buckle. Located on the buckle is a marvelous overlay deer pattern with an accenting plant and clouds. The attention to detail is just phenomenal and so beautiful. I love how the artist made chisel works within the overlay patterns. This buckle measures around 3" X 2-3/8" and can fit a belt width of about 1-1/2" or less. Sterling silver, marked. Signed by Navajo artist, F Tom. Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 49 grams.
