This is a breathtaking Navajo turquoise and shell silver squash blossom and earring set. This beautiful set contains wonderful multiple color spiny oyster shells along with stunning turquoise stones. The spiny oyster on this necklace consists of red spiny oyster, purple spiny oyster, and orange spiny oyster. The turquoise is a phenomenal blue coloration both dark and light blue. Surrounding each of the stones and shells on the 10 silver squashes are intricate tight silver ropes. The all silver naja pendant measures around 2-1/2" X1-3/4" including the channeled bail. Resting throughout the entire necklace is a stunning plethora of handmade round silver beads with end curved silver cones and a traditional silver clasp. Each earring contains a beautiful square shaped purple spiny oyster shell and measures around 3/4" X 5/8" not including the silver hooks. I absolutely love the colors of this necklace and earring set, very beautiful. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1990's+. Signed by Navajo artist, Tom Lewis.
