This is a museum quality vintage Navajo White Buffalo turquoise silver concho belt. This is one of the best concho belts we have collected all year as it is extremely rare to find this many White Buffalo turquoise stones on a piece let alone this large. This magnificent belt contains 12 impeccable large silver conochos with each concho consisting of a large chunky White Buffalo turquoise stone. The average stone on the conchos measure around 1-7/8" X 1-1/4". The surrounding silver works on all of the conchos are absolutely remarkable as they include raindrops, swirling stems, and ropes. This belt is old and contains beautiful old natural patina. The buckle is matching the conchos except much larger with the buckle measuring around 3-5/8" X 2-1/2" and the beautiful stone measuring around 3" X 1-3/4". The intricacy and detailing on this belt is just phenomenal. The total length of the belt measures around 49" long. Signed by Navajo artist, LN. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+.
