This is an astonishing vintage Navajo silver lizard bolo. This bolo is extremely large with a remarkable large dome shaped spiderweb Number 8 turquoise stone. Surrounding the 3" X 2-1/4" turquoise stone are phenomenal silver works that consist of hand carved leaves, raindrops and a huge 3D hand carved silver lizard. The bolo measures a whopping 4-1/2" X 3-1/4". Resting at the bottom of the thick black leather tie are long and huge tubule shaped silver pins that each measure around 3" X 3/8". Signed by Navajo artist, Curt John . Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 196 grams.
