This is a marvelous vintage Navajo all silver buffalo buckle. This amazing buckle consists of a center hand carved silver buffalo with accenting carved geometric works. The textured background on the buckle is just amazing and so wonderfyl. Bordering the buckle is a thick carved deep line segment. This buckle measures around 2-1/2" X 2" and can fit a belt width of about 1-1/4" or less. Sterling silver, marked. Signed by Navajo artist, Emer Kinzel. Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 39 grams.
