This is a remarkable vintage Navajo turquoise and coral silver buckle. This amazing buckle consists of a center hand carved silver Antelope. Accenting the antelope is a large chunky Blue Gem turquoise stone with an accenting coral stone. The surrounding silver works on the buckle consist of stems, raindrops, stems, flowers, leaves, fan patterns, ropes and sun stampings. I absolutely love all of the detailing on this beautiful buckle. The buckle measures around 3" X 2-3/8" and can fit a belt width of about 1-3/8" or less. The largest stone measures around 3/4" x 1/2". Sterling silver, marked. Signed by Navajo artist, Jay Livingston. Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 41 grams.
