Chameleons are camouflaged, tree-dwelling lizards from the old world found mostly in Madagascar, best known for their ability to change bodily color. My completely 3-dimensional chameleons are walking together slowly on a tree branch, swaying in the wind like leaves. One chameleon follows his mate while the other one turns his head to check up on his friend. This ring is designed using digital processes and handmade techniques. The jewelry piece is designed by me entirely from hand drawings and is 3D printed in solid brass/bronze using the lost wax casting technique. The piece is then carefully cleaned and hand-polished to achieve a smooth and shiny finish. Fits comfortably over two fingers due to its open design and allows flexibility in movement and size choosing.
