The ring is approximately a size 7. The face of the ring measures approximately 1 and 5/8 inches, or about 41.27 millimeters high, by just over approximately 1 and 1/4 inches, or about 32 millimeters, wide, and projects about 9/16 of an inch, or about 14.2875 millimeters, from the finger. The band measures just over about 3/16 of an inch, or approximately 5 millimeters, wide. (Included is a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The ring is stamped inside, "925", unsigned. Weight is substantial, at approximately 27.49 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.
This is a vintage piece, which has been worn and enjoyed. There will be the expected light surface scratches and could be tiny dings in the silver from normal wear. The thick ring band is round and true. There is no visible damage to the onyx. This is handmade and will not be machine-perfect in any sense. Hand polished, but there may still be areas of missed tarnish.
A very unusual, beautiful, and eye-catching, handmade vintage Sterling silver and black onyx western scroll detailed ring. Showstoppingly bold, but gorgeous and so feminine. A true statement piece.
