A gold-filled antique bar pin from the Victorian era (circa mid/late 1800s to early 1900s) has been repurposed as a necklace to be more wearable today. The symbolism of various objects and motifs played a significant role in Victorian society. Depictions of the various symbols were often depicted on Victorian jewelry, holding much meaning for the wearer whom they adorned. Note the double mirroring buckle design on both ends of bar pin with a third buckle in the center that has a different design with black enamel.
