Warehouse Clearance Ward Bennett For Sasaki Post-modern Black Crystal Vase Accessory [lPsBLYit]

A stunning post-modern design by Ward Bennett for Sasaki (c. 1975), this thick-walled black crystal vase from the Sengai line has a flat cut-polished top decorated with a row of repeated carved triangles, squares, and circles around the rim. A simple and elegant design so iconic that it can be found in the permanent collection of Brooklyn Museum.

Maker’s markings: acid etched “SASAKI" on base and in interior has original label “Sasaki Designed by Ward Bennett 24% Lead Crystal Japan”. In fantastic condition with a few small marks (see photos).
