Small carved jadeite bangle bracelet, rare oval shape.  Size is 53x47mm inside diameter, 15mm wide.  To determine if an oval jade bangle will fit your wrist, add the two inside diameter (53+37=100) and divide by 2 (50).   This will most likely  fit like 50mm.  Good size for young woman, woman with small wrist.  The carving is lotus leaf and flowers.  Half of the top is carved, half is smooth.  The jade bangle is moderately translucent and you can see a clarification line inside that is not a crack, and has been disguised by the jade carver with the carving.  It will not affect the durability.

Purchase directly from the jade carver during our 2003 shopping trip to China.  High chime indicates genuine, natural grade A jadeite stone.
