Here we have a huge antique photograph of a military team in battle stance, likely from West Point Academy at the turn of the century. The man at the center of the photograph is brandishing a West Point belt buckle (see pic....there's a link below to reference the belt buckle).

Because of the scale and visual, I've never seen a photograph with this type of presence. You can surround this thing with the craziest art on your wall, people will still zone in on this one. It reminds of book/film "Battle Royale." These kids are ready for something they shouldn't be ready for.

Now let's get to the visual. First, I'm pretty sure the instructors(?) are in the front row. Check out the dude with the wood handle jump rope wrapped around his torso. Then the sweet mustaches. All surrounded by the fellas drawing their weapons.

The large antique photograph came out of an estate auction in the Twin Cities. The journey before that is a great unknown. But the history is all in the visual.

The rare framed photograph measures 25" wide by 21" tall. The exposed image measures about 20" wide by 16" tall. The photograph is attached to the backing. The frame has a lot of patina. There are losses at the corners. especially the top left. There is a horizontal loss line along the top. The glass has some scuffs as well. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
